Metal. Metal is my favorite genre of music. Now here’s the problem. When i say metal is my favorite genre most people think i mean metal that’s nothing but screaming and yelling, or worshipping the devil or some nonsense like that. No. What i mean is metal that tells a story with their songs. Stories of love lost or of love gained. Stories that tell of a man’s choice to sell his soul to the devil to see his wife again only to be betrayed and at the end of the story learns because of his actions he is no longer welcomed in heaven.
My most favorite band is Iced Earth. Been listening to them since i was thirteen. My other favorite bands are Blind Guardian, Disturbed, Korn, Iron maiden, etc. I think that alot of metal gets a bad reputation all because of a few bad bands that seem to sing about evil subjects.
